The Panzerfaust 3 (Pzf 3) is one of the highest-performance handheld antitank weapons available for the infantry. Pzf 3 is a recoilless, shoulder launched anti-tank weapon carried and operated by only one soldier. In its main operating mode the shaped charge warhead will penetrate massive armour and can defeat modern battle tanks from all aspects. By switching to the second mode the Pzf 3 warhead acts as a squash head and is therefore highly effective against light armoured vehicles, field positions and all kinds of masonry as well as against reinforced concrete. Due to the Davis Gun launcher principle, the Pzf 3 can be safely fired from confined spaces. The anti-tank handheld weapon has a reusable firing device on which a high quality optical sight is mounted and further sighting aids can be added. With the optional Dynarange fire control unit it is possible to engage moving targets with high hit probability at ranges up to 600 metres.
