On the basis of the well known Panzerfaust 3 launcher-caliber of 60 mm Dynamit Nobel Defence has developed the family of RGW 60 (Recoilles Grenade Weapon 60 mm) weapons. By downsizing the warhead caliber to 60mm it was possible to integrate the warhead into the launch tube.

Furtheron a consistent weight optimization of all components resulted in a total weight of less than 6 kg at a length of the weapon of 900 mm. All weapons of this family are designed as disposable weapons and are designed according to the Davis Gun principle so that they are recoilless and can be fired from confined spaces.

The adaptation of night vision or other sighting devices is possible for all RGW 60 weapons.
